Dabble @AMP: Guided artistic play and self-expression—indoors and outdoors—for ages 9–11.
Young creators with a love for art and nature will find endless inspiration in this hands-on program. Dabble @AMP invites kids ages 9–11 to explore artistic self-expression through guided play—both indoors and outdoors.
Through a playful and mindful approach, participants will engage in open-ended projects using tactile materials and natural elements. Each session encourages creativity, imagination, and a deeper connection to the natural world, while introducing a variety of artistic techniques.
All materials are provided. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore!

Girls in Science @ Wesleyan University
Arcari Flora joins the inspiring Girls in Science program at Wesleyan University, offering young girls the opportunity to explore the wonders of science through hands-on experiences rooted in nature and creativity.
In this weeklong program, participants will connect scientific exploration with artistic expression—diving into engaging experiments, outdoor investigations, and nature-inspired art projects. With guidance from female scientists, educators, and artists, students will build confidence, ask bold questions, and strengthen their connection to the natural world.
This immersive program fosters leadership, teamwork, and a lifelong love for science—encouraging girls to see themselves as future changemakers in the fields of STEM and environmental stewardship.

STEAM@AMP: Exploring the Intersection of Creativity and Conservation that sparks imagination for kids 7–11.
Where imagination meets innovation!
STEAM@AMP is a dynamic five-day program for kids ages 7–11, designed to explore the exciting intersection of creativity and conservation. From harnessing the power of the sun to engaging with the natural environment, young learners will dive into hands-on projects that blend science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) in fun and meaningful ways.
Through outdoor adventures and indoor explorations on AMP’s vibrant campus, participants will cultivate curiosity, forge new friendships, and develop a lifelong passion for learning, nature, and creative problem-solving.

Fishers Island School
Arcari Flora is excited to lead a nature-based arts residency at Fishers Island School, booked through Arts for Learning Connecticut. As a Teaching Artist on the AFLCT roster, Meredith brings hands-on ecological art experiences that inspire students to connect with local habitats through storytelling, sensory exploration, and creative expression.
This residency features the Mason Bee Hotel program, where students learn about pollinators, native plants, and habitat restoration while designing and building bee habitats that support local ecosystems.

Keane on Kids After School Enrichment Program
ARCARI FLORA: Nature Art Activities - Thursdays through November 23rd.
Learn about native fauna and flora in the neighborhood while creating your very own work of art using paint, paper, sharpie, and various elements of nature. Learn about native plants and beneficial insects while gaining skills to enrich native plants and local wildlife, and beautify your natural surroundings. Form your own perspective on current environmental issues with tools and skills to positively impact your surroundings. Projects include creating a one-of-a-kind mason bee hotel, birdhouses, and more.

Soils Workshop
Get your hands dirty and learn about the different textures and the complexity of Soils!
Learn how soils are formed, how to build compost to enrich the soil in your own neighborhood and how you can improve the health of the soil in your neighborhood. Workshop includes a fun Art Activity: Students will create artistic layers using different baking flours. Each layer representing different types of soil beneath our feet. Recipe included!

Riverfront Recapture with the Hartbeat Music Festival
